window regulator DIY?

Boom, $95 for the correct regulator without the motor. Is it possible to remove the motor from that regulator you have? Does it look like you can swap motors?

MAYBE.. but the one torx size i dont have is the one needed to remove the bolt lol... so i think im just gonna order these ones instead though and send the other ones back.. this is a pain in my ******* ***... sure beats 900 at audi dealer though lol

Just pop over to an autoparts store and see if you can get a quick bit for that torx. Alot of those aftermarket regulators have riveted in motors though that you have to drill out which makes it a pain, in which case it wouldn't be worth it.

well another 270 dollars later... i ordered... 2 more regulators.. hopefully this **** works haha... and its kinda funny going through the other box... they already had detailed instructions on how to return the merchandise... its like they were expecting it lol

well on this set up, i tried popping off the whole set up like the oem one has that has the male part that goes into the female part which in turn moes the window... this one has no male or female... the cables and everything are all one piece.. so i jsut said **** it lol

wow i feel bad for you phill all that money later and you still dont have oem parts shokan.com but they will prb be pretty expensive

well its all good... obviously oem window regulators are the problem lol.. and everytime i email shokan i always have to wait like 3 days for a response... i cant wait that long and then still have to wiat or the order... if it rains then im fucked... i have no windows lol
