It's quick, easy, and makes a difference. And since it's a tube, water can still drain down the channel - you're just providing a "top" for the channel so the door seals up better.

Close the door and look at the seal from the outside, if it looks like its not all the way against the body the door frame worked its way loose. Here is the "flat rate" way of fixing it. Open the door, put the panel against your knee, grab the top of the window frame and yank like all hell towards you. Close the door and keep checking it until its flush with the body again. You wont hurt anything because the frame sits on four bolts, its just pivoting on them.
