Default Will these fit?

I might be buying a set of rims coming from a MKV Golf, sizes are 19x8.5 et45.

Will these fit my B5?

MKV Golfs/GTI's/GLI's are 5X112.

No, I am not lowered... Why do you ask? I am going to though... I am thinking Tien Luxury Springs but don't know what kind of shocks I should get.

There is a huge difference about fitment when you're lowered or running stock.

Depending on the tire sizes on the wheels, I think you can pull it off. You might want to roll your fenders once you run the aftermarket springs/shocks set just to be safe.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice, do you think I will still have to roll the fenders if I'm only going to do about 1 to 1.5 inch drop? I'm not looking to tuck my rims but I don't want a gap between the top of my tire to the fender.

Where can I go to get my fenders rolled?

If you're running stretched tires, you might be able to pull it off.

I'm personally running 18's with the same width without rolled fenders and running stretched. I would rub if I don't go slow enough on speed bumps.

However, I did run a set of 19's before but I was running negative camber which I don't think you want to go with (uneven tire wears).

Anyway, there are places that will let you rent out tools for doing it your self. A lot of places have decided not to do it anymore due to some issues (at times it doesn't go as well as one expects).

If you don't want to do it yourself, try giving couple body shops, window tint places a call.

Where are you located anyway?
