will fwd lowering springs fit on awd cars?

O.k.....when I bought my spring and shock package I was to believe that the set-up was for an AWD car. I later found out through trying to install a set of FWD springs on AWD Bilstein shocks that it was impossible to get the spring to fit the shock. I even took the damn springs and shocks to a garage to see if they could do it. And my apologies, the spring was not too short, it could not compress enough to fit the shock, so for that matter I stand corrected.
Needless to say, my only guess would be that if you want to mount the rears onto rear shocks meant for a FWD it may work, but I have no clue as to why you would do that.

Why the hell would anyone ask if they fit and then start posting over and over again that everyone else is stupid and he thinks they will fit.
I bet 50$ now this dipshit's springs won't fit and he'll either lie or never post up again about the matter.
