Springs are made in different ways for different applications. As Devil was saying, in the way they are wound or in the different strength properties of the spring itself. They can have a lower compression strength. The basic physics of why there are different springs for different models and transaxles. Let us know your experiences though.

yeah im just going to try them since i have them. there's many members that use raddo /mk2/mk3 suspensions on there cars and they have different spring weights.

same as people on here who use awd 1.8 h&r coilovers on there v6 or s4 or avants which are different spring rates.

will be posting pics as soon as i get my struts sometime this week. just kinda busy with my other projects.

why don't you just try putting a rear spring on a stock strut quick and settle all this?

why not do it on a STOCK strut to see if it even fits before u go buy new struts for something that might not even work?

well REGARDLESS if they are blown.. dont u think u should still try it on the stock ones just to be safe to prevent any possible damage it might do to the new struts?
