will fwd lowering springs fit on awd cars?

Devil - they do make avant specific springs too, so that could be yet another difference. I believe its that avant weigh more in the back, requiring a different spring rate.

I know unfortunately from personal experience that the springs will NOT work. The set I bought off someone were for a FWD. When trying to put the FWD rears on the correct AWD struts, the FWD are too short.

Everyone here has given you the correct advice.....I see no reason why you continue to ignore them. Save yourself the hassle and get the correct parts.

when have i ignored?? theres no proof that has been given nor pics.

as for your statement how are the fwd rear springs short if there the same height as the as s4 and a tad longer then the awd springs as shown in the pics..



do you have pics when you did yours??

sedan. i know of many members that use s4 or aftermarket sedan suspensions on the advant.
