Default Wierd Electrical Problem

I'm having a very strange intermittent problem. 3 different times I have Lost Headlights,Turn Signals,Wipers and Blower Motor and than all of a sudden everything will come back on. I know it's not a fuse because everything eventually starts working again. Does anyone have idea where I can start looking for the problem.
I assume I have a short some where but was hoping someone had a good place to start looking

In case anyone wants to know or has a problem like this in the future. The problem was the Load Reduction Relay. It is located up under the dash.

I wonder what other kinds of electrical problems that load reduction relay could cause? Mines just sitting now cause its all screwed up. I blamed it on the freezing weather....

I had to give up and take it to my local Audi shop. I hated not doing it myself but noone was responding in here so I figured it was a rare thing to happen so I let the pro look at it.

if more than one electrical component goes out, grab a wiring diagram and look for a common power or ground. will save you a lot of money in the future
