We all have Audi's here, right?
There all nice cars, almost all of us take great care of them and they are classy reliable comfortable cars that a lot of people have envy of. With that being said i was looking at the S part of this forum and they are acting like we are ricer's, saying thing like "We are NOT the A4 Forum, NO MORE BOV threads!!!!" wtf, yes we can actually get away with running one but most of us don't, and honestly what sounds ricier an a4 or an s4? an s4 for sure. Also thing like"If it doesn't have an S or an RS in the Model type it ain't worth wasting the money into!!!!" More money than respect, we can't all have s4's!!!

Sorry i just had to vent, And truth is i like the sound of a BOV i just won't run one on my car because it's a compromise to performance, honestly i want to get an s4 after a while, but seriously have some respect, the only time to talk **** is when someone else is talking it first. (ex. a friend buys a non quattro TT and is bragging about how it's better than my A4, at this point you're allowed to tell him exactly why he's wrong)

Feel free to chime in just show more respect than them.

 

Most S4 owners have developed an attitude similar to that of M3 owners. That is, to say, they've become ***** and therefore have no friends. Within the past several years the requirement list for ownership of an S4 has become eerily similar to that of an M3 owner:
-Wear lots of Affliction or Ed Hardy
-Wear lots of Calvin Klein cologne
-Gym, tan, laundry
-Date only skanks
-Alienate all friends that don't own an S4 until it breaks. Then call your nearest A4 owning "friend" because he actually knows what he's doing

OP, my advice is to just leave them be. You've no reason to be on the S4 forum anyway. All the knowledge and advice you could ever want is right here, and most of us aren't ********.

I just don´t give a damn about S4 owners bad attitude. I just say f*ck them, if they want to isolate, so let be isolation.

I love cars, I love audi, I love quattro, I love Regular, S, RS... they´re all great cars. next year I´ll keep my B5 for "mods and fun" and get a B7 for daily driving.

Probably, I´ll keep in audi family for a long time, and I don´t have any intentions here besides making friends and talking about cars.

 

I've owned an S4, and TBH they're way too high maintenance. An engine pull to replace the turbo oil supply copper seals, an engine pull to replace those problematic K03 snails. I had mine for 5 years, and pulled the engine and tranny three times.

Flywheel replacement at 43,000 miles, right-hand turbo oil supply line at 55,000 miles, both snails at 74,000 miles. A nightmare. My old A4 2,8 quattro was perfect. Less power, but never missed a beat. If I didn't do my own wrenching with the S4, it would have pretty much ruined me, but after all that work, you wonder what's next. She had to go.
