I was curious about how long people keep their cars and how long they last. If you have some major work done (engine, transmission) please let us know. Dont forget to specify your car.
I ll start.
2000 Audi A4 Q automatic. Currently coming close to 106000. No major works.

 

Currently just over 140,000. Have no idea of recent work done. Previous owner was NO help. I have allready replaced the battery, both drag links and one upper/rear a-arm/ball joint. Motor runs strong. Timing belt looks O.K. from what I can see and feel through the cover. I'm totally new to Audis' and german cars alike, so I am learning as I go.

 

well I know we have covered this before and I'm pretty sure that I might be one of the highest with 197,XXX on my 1996 A4. I will be past 200K by the end of this summer.


no major work done but I'm needing a new PS rack and another TB done along with 2 Cats, a thermostat, and my EGR valve is clogged, but other than that, it's all good

141,376 and running strong

 

~76,000.

 

hit 163000 today, oil change coming up in a few more weeks, engine got a small idle issue, clogged egr anda bad o2 sensor, and bad throw out bearing due to me letting a retard drive my car. other than that she running

 

My uncle's 97 2.8 has 248,000...[8D]

My 99 1.8T has 148,000

 

related family doesn't count, or past cars because my dads old 5000 had 300+K on it before the odometer stopped working[:-][8D]

 

218,000 miles just this weekend... 1999 A4 1.8 turbo/quattro/sport/manual

Head was rebuilt at 117,000 due to a timing belt break.

 

150,000+ I replaced the head, belt, water pump etc... At 127,000 so I think I'm good til atleast 200,000
