It works well? I'm doing this mod this weekend, just want to make sure it's legit. Did you solder the same # plugs as in the DIY? just to be clear, is that the 2nd, 4th, and 5th sections from the left soldered together in your pic? Thanks.

 

Okay... well I did the fog mod and it works silky smooth, knock on wood. Thanks for all the write-ups everyone. Really is a sweet simple mod!

 

hey guys. the 99 and up b5's has their module behind the glove box but the 98 and below don't. from what i have heard is that the 98 and below is under the dash. but is it the same to wire up ????

 

< 98 is on the cabin side of the fire wall, behind the rest of the fuses. Its kind of a PITA to get too, unless you have midget hands, cause you have to take apart the lower dash section underneath the steerling wheel.

As far as the wiring goes, to the best of my (somewhat limited) knowledge, the connections should be the same.
