cause who wants to pay almost 300$ for a cable and software when u can get a 15$ cable and 99 for the software...

 

I downloaded the software for free from ross-tech. I just haven't gotten around to buying the cable off ebay yet.

People who want to get the newest and complete version that will work 100% and have a faster sampling rate. Plus its $260, well worth it if you ACTUALLY want to tune and gather real data from your car along with change other options like auto locking doors and so on

409.1 the new version doesn't detect my cable...

 

There is so much that the 409.1 cant do. But i guess you paid 1/2 so getting about 1/2 isnt a big deal. Which it shouldnt be if you dont plan on using it much more than to clear/read codes and other small stuff. I got mine to run logs and use unisettings to adjust my timing and fuel and maximize my setup. If that setup is all you need, thats good, just dont want someone looking for more and be out over $100 and then need to spend the $260
