where can i get a good tuneup kit from online?

i would just get the basic plugs, you can follow the diy on wires, but i would do your tb, even though 42 is low for a car, it is an 01, so it was barely driven or sat... and you might just want to do it to be on the safe side...
as stated in your welcome thread, look for guys from nova to point you in the right direction when it comes to your car, not the "shop"
and i don't know a ton about 2.8's sorry

i live in centreville so im not far from you. im thinking about doing the timing belt in the future so if you would be willing to give me a hand id appreciate it.
btw i didnt know the V6s had wires? i thought they had a coil on plug ignition system.
also where is the fuel filter located?

The V6's do have coilpacks but they're all centrally located on the front of the motor underneath the engine cover. The 1.8T has the coilpacks that sorta plug into each cylinder. The wires don't typically go bad, but if you've made up your mind to replace them it can't hurt. Try this DIY for changing your fuel filter. I'll definitely help you with the timing belt job if you want but living in an apartment, i'm not gonna be able to provide a place to do the work. I've got a nice jack and a nice set of jack stands in my closet though
