i think im going to go with these, this will bring the back wheels close to flush with the fenders. unless anyone has a strong objection to the quality.

How big of a spacer is too big? I dont want to get anything that can cause problems down the road or something that could alter my ride quality.

most people with spacers have the rear spaced out, it's fine to do.. I have 20mm in the rear and no spacers up front
nicey how much more? I am seeing the adaptecs starting at $50/pair, and looks like H&R starting at $68/pair - does that sound about right?

I can't find that either companies sell direct, so looks like I'll be trying to contact a retailer (none local ) next week...

One of the sites I saw mention to be wary of clearance for the caliper.., as an audi, is there any concern there?

Any other recommendations or links much appreciated, I am looking forward to spacing out my rears just a touch to fit the fender better...if that works out, I might space out the front half as much more.

Thanks fellers

maybe what they mean about the caliper is that if you get new wheels, they may not clear the calipers so you have to get at least the right size spacers to clear them. here's where I got mine
