Default wheel spacers

im interested in getting some wheel spacers to get that wide stance look. Id like to get them flush with the fenders and not sure what sizes to get for the front and rear. my rim size is 17x7.5 with 225/45/17 tires. I also dont want to pay a fortune for them since i will need new lugs too im sure.

Where is a good place to get decent spacers? is there much difference between the ones on ebay for 25$ a pair vs ones from tuning sites that cost 50-100 a pair?

also, is this a safe mod to do as long as lugs are proper length?

Thanks in advance

What is the offset of your tire? I would stay away from ebay for this just my 2 cents. Pay more from a reputable company. Do you really want the only thing keeping your tire on the car to be something cheap? If you are just want to go flush just messure the distance you need!
1 inche = 25.4 millimeters
so then a 1/4 inch = 6.35
1/2 = 12.7
3/4= 19.05

So there is some rough measurements. So say you have a 1/2 inch to make your tire flush. They wont have a 12.7mm spacer so if the number is less than the 12.7 it will sit inside the fender. If the number is higher it will be poking out a little bit.

If you want some from a reputable company, buy here: http://shop.achtuning.com/handrdrser...elspacers.aspx

Personally, I wouldn't buy from ebay for this sort of thing...

if i dont have enough cash right now to buy all four spacers and new lugs, would it be ok if i just did the back for now and did the front at another time, or would that not be a good idea????

Glad someone already posted this. ACHTUNING is a good company, luckily I didn't have to get spacers because the new 8.5" Hartmanns fit perfectly flush and spacers are not needed.

I would also not go for cheap on something like this, crappy ones can create problems.

many of the hubcentric ebay spacers are good quality. I have the h&r ones that have their own bolts; the spacers bolt onto the hubs and the wheels bolt onto the spacers, so you don't need to buy longer lugs. they're a little bit more money but they're nice to have especially if you want to switch wheels then you don't need all different lug bolts..
most people with spacers have the rear spaced out, it's fine to do.. I have 20mm in the rear and no spacers up front

I'd personally go with Adaptec spacers since they're custom and made based on how you like them. Also the fact that they have the best customer service ever!

I believe the offset is around 42. I have the replica rs4 17inch. I had to look it up on ebay to see, im sure my offset is about the same as what is currently listed.
