Wheel bearing

For the rear bearings, you'll need a shop press or possibly a hubshark.
What I did was pull the whole rear knuckle/hub assembly off the car and bring it to pep boys along with an OEM bearing. They did it under the table for $40. Did the same for the other side a couple weeks later.
Both bearings inevitably fail within 3k miles.
When taking off the rear knuckle, there is one nut/bolt that spins freely. Try to get that one out early -- it's a bitch if you leave it for last. Also, don't damage the ABS speed sensor.
When re-assembling, use a jack to push up the knuckle to ride height before torquing down the suspension hardware.

And here's the DIY I followed: http://www.audiworld.com/tech/wheel45.shtml
Again, there is a bolt that spins freely. I can't remember which one, but try to remove that bolt early instead of last or you are going to need sone very narrow vice-grips to hold the bolt.
