Although I would be able to swing the cost of an older S4...like a 2000 B5 S4...I wouldn't be able to afford maintenance...2 of everything...like if the turbos were to go, so would the car...at least the A4 is relatively easy to take care of...

although I have driven an S4 and loved it, I probably will never own one...maybe an NA S4 down the line?

I have definately, without a doubt decided to keep the car...the money I have coming in the next week will cover all needed repairs (replacement parts that I will DIY), then the car will get all of the bodywork and paint done (which sadly will take two full weeks, but spring break is right around the corner!), and then I will get a set of coilovers.

eventually I will have every bolt-on for the K03 and tuning (prolly at the end of the year or so)...and then I will start savin the $ to pobbibly do a 2.0 build (haven't decided on a turbo, but would prolly be gunnin for around 300-350awhp)

 

performance and a tighter suspension will be 100x more fun. worry about the looks later, or paint your car yourself....

If I painted the car myself I would end up with a primer black rally racer or a rustoleum special...lol (I could just see me taking a turn and having a chunk of bondo fall off the side of my car)

I am going to take care of the cars needs primarily, then the paint&body (I definatley would not be able to do the bodywork myself), then I will take care of the wheel gap (which will also tighten the car up bigtime)

Performance mods will start in about a month or so...and they will not stop...

what I don't want to do is have a super sleeper...lol

I can imagine how the conversation would go

girl: "your car looks like a pile of ****"
me: "yeah, well....as leasts it's a fast pile of ****"
girl: "when are you gunna get it repainted?"
me: "in a couple years, first I have to go BT...im gunna replace the engine and tranny...I'm either gunna gowith a built VR6-T or a 2.0T stroker and Im gunna bolt up an S4 tranny, Im gunna run straight 11s in the 1/4"
girl: "what are you talking about, your a weirdo"

and on top of that, my girlfriend says tha car is plenty fast, she says that the audizzle just needs a new coat of paint and it will be perfect, but at the same time she says she likes tall audizzle and she doesn't want me to lower it either...lol

ya just get it back to normal condition. if you want a 10s car, you can always buy a skyline.

then to import/buy a skyline and do god knows what?...two ginourmous turbos?....a **** ton of stickers, some altezza tails, underglow lights, twin 100mm BOVs, a non functional hoodscoop, cameleon paint, a couple pepboys fart cans, red tinted windows, a primer gray body kit, and a wing off of a jumbo jet!

I don't think I will be running 10s until I am an old a$$ man w a deathwish....
