On a diff topic I just did this. Shift **** and boot rewrap. I did denim for now just to see if I like it I might switch to silver alcantra or Burberry.


it's different. I'll see how it goes and feels for a while before I cnag it. But that's an idea of what u can do in like 20min

 

this is exactly what i did with my A4 and i have to say it sounded really nice
it was a non bose car and i had to rewire all 4 new polk speakers
install amp and cap for the 2 12inch subs and i had a jensen DVD flip up
now that i got an s4, it has bose so i had to install whole new system.
stock cd player
stock spekers with bose amp
Kenwood excelon kac-X811d 1600w amp
12 inch Kicker Solo Baric 1500w
2 farad cap with 4 gauge wiring kit
Sounds amazing with bose

 

Speaking of shifters... I like the a3 shifter setup... How would I go about putting a different shifter on? Cuz it has press down reverse, would this make it harder? I wanna get a3/s3 shift ****

 

Is your reverse in 6th or push down to 1st? It's just the pattern on the **** that's differnt u can get the a3 **** and screw it onto yours. But changing the whole shifter box to pushdown reverse would be a bitch

 

Well I have push down reverse in 5th not 6th.... But that's what I was wondering will the a3 **** and boot fit on there easily, I've never done boots and **** swap before

 

Only 1 way to find out. Indont see why it won't. Rs4 **** is nice too
