ok, i know, iknow im an idiot for trying to tune a 2.8, but i dont give a damn, sooo i'm prepared to spend a lot of money in getting the most hp out of a 2.8 than anyone ever has... so therefor i need to know what's the best chip out there (by the wayi know that it wont give me a huge increase in power)

no it's not chipped yet. all i have is a custom CAI if you consider that a powerwise mod. the only real mod i've done is put me in the driver's seat muahahahaha

 

hahaha, me neither i just ordered a k&n air intake and it should arrive friday, cant wait to put it in.. hey do you if putting an air intake on a 2.8 makes the check engine light come on? cause i had a jetta and it did that!

 

the k&n kit will foul the MAF. be prepared to have a little trouble with you car in the near future. all you need to do is get a can a electronics cleaner ready and you'll be fine. also, before you install the kit, let the filter dry in the sun for a few hours. and make sure to plug the MAF harness back in when you're done. no cel should appear

 

yeah i have a vag-com, and i'm already prepared for the cel, what do you mean by trouble in the future?

 

the k&n will probably give you 20-30whp. A chip/flash will give you another 40whp

if the "audi timeslips" link is not lying, then you will have to work really hard to get more power than anyone has gotten out of the 30v...

with a s/c and a large shot of nitrous this guy claims 600+ crank hp
