Regular Cherokees are better than Grand Cherokees because the transmissions are more reliable. The Grand Cherokees come with the ***-tastic 4xRE engines. (Though the newer 545RFE seems not so bad.) I have a Dodge Dakota with that crap. Never again!

probably a Dodge Durango (98-03) or something SUVish here soon in the next month or so. OR an old urs4 if I can find one for the right price.

I'm eyeballing an 07 A4 2.0t, ibis white avant; GIAC, JHM shortshifter, neuspeed exhaust, coils, 30% tint and other small goodies like upgraded DV, boost gauge etc. I commute far too much for the same year S4 to be practical, that thing sucks up gas like a dry sponge does water. Far wiser for me to just get the 2.0t and put 1-2 grand into it (chip, exhaust, etc) and have a sufficiently quick car that I can still sucker ~26-30 mpg out of. Maybe someday in the next decade I'll be making enough cash to nab up a B7 RS4 and still be able to afford to fuel and insure it, but until then, a regular ol' 2.0t A4 is all I need.

CCA4 = smartass

also, CCA4 you're probably closer to the truth than I'd like to think. Still, a blacked out Odyssey on 20s with HIDs and a killer A/V system for the kids isn't all that unattractive as a companion to my Audi. Hell, there would even be enough space for me to put my Wii in there for them on trips Believe me, I've been researching it... Who says "soccer mom" has to be totally lacking in style lol

hahahaha sorry, I couldn't resist.

I'm thinkin when I eventually have to go practical I'm going to go the SUV route, a Suburban or Tahoe or some such thing. That Odyssey does sound kinda cool though lol

I saw a commercial for the new S5 last night on SNF... Yeah, sweet looking ride, and once I hit the lotto, it'll be my DD...
