does my car have? i dont have the bose setup. what are the sizes for the front and rear?

the stock sizes are 4" in the front and 6" in the rear i remember reading somewhere tho you can put 5 1/4 in the front with a little modification

 

A A4 with the Bose radio has 4" speakers in the front as well?

 

i just threw 5 1/4 in the front...you have to modify the outer ring of the speaker (metal piece where the mounting brackets come from) i lined it up to the old speaker where the holes were and drilled 3 holes in it

rears are 6 1/2"

 

i went 6.5 in the rear and 5 1/4 up front with 1 1/4 for the tweeters

 

4' inch in front 6 1/2' in rear go with polks... Thats what i run in my 00' a4 1.8tq, pushes alot of sound and will run perfect with any setup of subs...

 

so polks are a good way to go??
does anybody know of a website that sells speakers/audio stuff for a good price
also can i hook up a sub and amp to my stock headunit?
