Arrow What seats will fit? going back to stock from aftermarket

I bought my 97 a4 b5 with aftermarket carbon fiber seats and I want to put stock seats back in now to make use of the heated option it came with. I've done some research but have not found the answer I need yet.
First since I have the heated option does that mean I originally had power seats? Which year and model seats will be a direct fit?

A 97 should have a power driver seat and a manual passenger seat. Look under the seats you have now. Power seats have dual rails so you would have two front mounting holes. Manual seats have a single center rail with a locking pin on the seat. If you have heater switches on the dash you'll want to get heated seats.

Both front seats have the center single mounting point do they would both be manuals then. Thanks

So any manual heated seats from 97-01 should fit then? How about the s4 seats?

S4 seats are all power on both sides, so they won't fit without some modification to add the extra rail

the mounting points are there, for both. However, they are not threaded for the other application not natural to the car. when i did my interior swap, there were mounting holes for a manual rail it was just not threaded for a bolt.

Nice - that'd save the headache of drilling the proper points. The bigger pain in the *** swap would be going power to manual, since the manual seats have a center rail that is absent in a car with power seats. You'd have to weld the damn thing in. Screw that.
