what rpms are you doing at 60 mph

Default what rpms are you doing at 60 mph

My car issitting around 2400 rpms at 60 mph. does the tiptronic have overdrive?

5th gear in my manual sits right around there. 70 is 3k even if I remember right.

Yeah with a 5spd and a 2.8 (Taller gears) I sit right at 3k when doing 70mph, and 3.2k when going 75mph. I'm not sure about 60 though.

When i'm at 65mph, the tach is exactly on 3000.... i wish i had one more gear

OK so its whereitshould be from what you all say it just seems a little high to me I was hoping it was something I could fix to get better mpg's

+1 and another turbo so thats why I'm buying an S4 6 speed haha

When I'm running at 60 mph the tach is reading 2000 rpm. Mine is all stock including tire size and from running through those Radar speed signs that show your speed mine reads within 1 mph. So at 60 I'm really running 59 mph. Different tire diameter will change your overall gear ratio.

I have the same drivetrain as you - 65 is right about 2700, so 60mph is somewhere around 2500 I think.

I have a 12v 2.8 60mph is right at 2500, I don't think thats too bad (but I usually drive 75 at like 3200 lol)
