Default What options do I have for a cluster swap?

I have a 97 A4 and the cluster looks like this

I was wanting one that does not have the little clock on it and has the full screen in the middle like this

Can I do this swap and have it function properly? If not what options do I have for a trouble free swap?

I did the swap on my 1997, it was pretty long and complicated(nothing is pre-wired).. but it's doable. You preferably need a donor car for all the wiring if you want to do the whole thing correctly.. AND you need a 1997 only cluster with full LCD (rare).

You need:
-1997 cluster with MFD
-Wiper stalk with MFD switches.
-Wiring from cluster to TCM if your automatic and want to see the PRND432 on the screen
-Windsheild washer reservoir + pump with level sensor and wiring
-bulb check (a big relay and lots of wiring)
-wiring from the radio to the cluster

and more..

Sounds involved. Wanna do it for me? I don't mind everything but the relay and large amount of wiring part. I love the look of that cluster and FOR SURE I want the screen in the center. As far as the analog clock goes I could live with it but the other cluster is SOOO MUCH BETTER!

I decided not to install the bulb check nor headlight washer because of the crazy amount of wiring for so little use... stuck to the basic functions :P

Do I need to point out that I have the 2.8 V6? Does that matter?

MetaLMAN and I have just don't the swap

you need to read this

http://forums.audiworld.com/showthread.php?t=2797763

you can ground out all the warning lights - brake/bulb/ washer fluid

I have the connector you will need to the back of the cluster (red one) ands i may even have a cluster ill have to see. Its really not hard i think you solder less than 10 wires. just make sure you can solder
