If you are going to run hankook, z214 is the way to go!

+1 for dedicated winter/summer sets

I run 225/45/17 Dunlop Wintersport 3D's for the winter and in the summer 235/45/17 Conti DW's

Great for each of their purposes. I can rock through the WV mountains in the winter with ease and the torrential downpours of the summer.

Fuzion HRi's baby! Nice and cheap so I can sell the car fast and the next owner can deal with shitty tires.

Bridgestone Potenza RE-11

yeah... those are only TireRack's #1 rated extreme summer performance tire on the market. And well worth it...at $1120 a set of 4.

^ (they came on my b6 s4 wheels. Those are WAY too rich for my blood) I'll be replacing them with non-directional Kumho Ecstas of some sort...and very soon at that, with that 180 treadwear rating.

firestone firehawk gt. They do pretty damn good in all types of weather. Pulled me through a record amount of snowfall this winter with ease, also didn't do bad with autocross, a lot of understeer buy what do you expect. If you want an all season tire that's also good for some spirited driving and not hard on your wallet, go for the firestone firehawk gt.

I had some Continental DWS and they worked great. I am running Toyo Proxes 4 now.
