Default what does an exhaust do for the turbo

Im finishing up on my a4 and am doing it with an exhaust system, i have a chip, intake, and Forge DV and im now at doing a whole new exhaust, test pipe and everything. My question is for those of you in a similiar mod situation how much of a difference did you see in you aspiration system as a whole when you had all this completed. Im not really talking horsepower i know that exhausts dont make much but im really talking smoothness in acceleration and and turbo spooling and does it change your PSI much?

i had an intake, chip, and dv when i installed my exhaust and tp. turbo spools up slightly faster, better lowend power, and seemed to smooth out the powerband. didn't have a change in psi. but the biggest difference was obviously the sound. i couldn't stop driving the car lol

dirty tricks(like the kind ****** do for money) I have that stupid forge splt-r vavle and cannot figure out what the hell im supposed to do with it since you can tune the spring rate and stuff. I have put it all the way in and all the way loose and from what i can hear it doesnt effect to bypassing one bit!

lol yeah one of the guys from the forum who lives by me has the splitter, and it was a pain. you should definitely see psi differences when adjusting the spring tho. do you have a boost gauge?

and yeah im very happy with my exhaust. im going back home later today so i should have access to a camera again. so im gona be taking lots of pics and vids.

and here's the link for the DIY for the rims- https://www.audiforums.com/m_672863/tm.htm

thanks!
in regard to what you said about adjusting the spring in the DV, is that only for the split-r? or would i see PSI gains if i adjusted the spring in mine (forge 007) no chip so im at stock boost
