Those wheels are the stock OEM 17s for the '01 model year witht the sport package. Nice wheels, but not aftermarket. Also the HyperGunMetal finish looks exactly like the graphite wheel paint that I have mine painted. So, BS on the $700 wheel thing.

I don't recall the build dates off the top of my head to determain if it's an 01 or 01.5. The ECU's are differant but interchangable also on the 2001 and the 2001.5. One of them ends in CH and the other ends in M. Very small differances between the two dates though.
Anyway, it's likely he's telling the truth about buying those wheels afterwards.

the 'latinlova' seems pretty vain, having that plate on velcro to switch over to another hooptie
