yeah i'm no stranger to A4's (i used to own one) and I know he is exaggerating quite a bit, but its still not a bad price. I might be more interested if I got him below 7,500. The car isnt worth much more than that because mods dont add to resale value. Sad fact really.

that would be smart, actually. I don't know if i could bring myself to sell off the go-fast parts after owning an s6 for so long though :[

not a bad lookin car. The prices on things dont really seem too inflated to me...alot of that stuff is retail pricing, and probably includes installation as well.
Definitely not an S4 front bumper, however. and the BBK...if he has a BBK that cost 2000 bucks, why would he neglect to put the name of the kit, yet put "painted red calipers" lol
Id say it seems like a pretty good deal, but definitely try for 7500.

I actually looked at this very car while shopping for mine. While it was too expensive, I wanted a "test drive" to see how a well upgraded Audi performs.
Its no big brake kit, its just a caliper upgrade from brembo. Cheap, somewhat effective, but not $2k.
I think I remember it having a good deal of miles on the car.
As someone else said, the KO4 is NOT big turbo. It practically the same turbo, but more efficient.
The fact that he went to Matrix is good. Thats where I go, but a race transmission seems a bit weird to me. Usually people whomp on race cars...
I guess I'll leave you with some experience words:
sure pictures are worth a thousand words, but they can also hide a million. I viewed an Audi that looked pristine, but when I saw it in person I realized it had spent a good deal of time submerged. Definatly not something you want to buy
This car looks okay, but keep in mind that there are problems somewhere on that car.

Thanks, I can take pictures of the curbed wheels and the seat tear and send them to you in the next couple days. I just changed the oil but other than that nothing major mechanical work has been done to it since the stage III clutch and flywheel was installed. In the future, the water pump and timing belt will need to be replace probably in the next 20-25k miles. I'm sure you know about the airbag light being on all the time in the a4's if you've owned one before but it still will deploy. The engine check light stays on but that is because the catalytic converter is not on it. If something does go wrong with the engine, it the light flashes. Its in great condition. Let me know if you want to come see it. I will get those pics when I have time. Thanks.
