yea cc= clear corner.

the difference is the 98's have 2 piece lights, and the 99+ has 1 piece.

the e-codes are the euro spec lights that come on the a4's in europe. they dont have the amber side marker. u can buy e-codes from valeo(better) or depo(worse) and they look almost exactly the same as the US spec w/ the cc mod. the only difference ive noticed are the tiny lines in the lense, and the shape/type of turn signal bulb.

It's the same headlight, the "ecode" thing is the euro version that has no orange corner reflectors, hence the term "clear corners".

Let me clarify this - it's not that the Depo lights are bad - I and others have them and love them, with no issues. A better way to describe it would be that the Depos are good and the Valeos may be somewhat better, although I'm not sure what makes them better. I have the Depo lights though, as do a couple friends of mine, and none of us have any complaints whatsoever - they're great.
