what to do with stock FPR when putting in aftermarket
hey guys, so when i got my 98 A4 the previous owner put an aftermarket FPR in the engine ... it is installed correct, on the return line ...but its just a blue brick with no name on it and i dont know what brand it is, so im not trusting it
i just replaced it with a new SARD Sport that i had lying in the garage that was supposed to go on my miata...but anyways...put that on and put in the ECS FP Gauge inline before the fuel rail
the stock FPR is still on the end of the fuel rail as well though....and the nipple is vented to the ATM..
im trying to figure out if it should stay or i should take it off, and if i take it off what do i do with the hole it leaves
if the stock one stays in is it still regulating towards what it think its it should be?
thanks in advance

RE: what to do with stock FPR when putting in aftermarket
^ adjustable.
If i was you, i would just return it to stock or have a eurospec or ecstuning adj fpr that replaces the stock fpr. Would be much clear and easier that way

yep its a 2-8 Bar adjustable.... ideally that would be easiest , but the line is already cut for a non railed unit...and i already have this one..so figure it might as well use it
any advice on my original question?
