OP, you're right. The site search on this forum leaves much to be desired. Usually when I'm looking for something, I use Google and just tell it to only search AudiForums.com. works WAY better. just FYI.

My B5's name is Audina...can you fellas say a short prayer for Audina?,she went under the wrench yesterday to get her tranny replaced.
She is due to be picked up tomorrow tuesday! I hope everything goes smooth,after that,she has to have some seals replaced,valve cover gasket,left and right rear axle's are leaking diff fluid,propshaft seal is leaking and there may be a vacuum line or lines that are leaking.
This is the last vag-com scan i did on her before she went under the wrench...

well with a list of problems that big lol maybe the new tranny is "too good" and the engine was bad and worked with the bad tranny but now you have a good tranny and a bad engine you didnt know about and now with the good tranny your engine blows. MAke sure you give her a talkin to before the drive home
