what can i do to make my 2.8 faster?

Yup but power isn't everything. Make it turn, stop, and look better and the 2.8 is still a fun car.

Amen! The 2.8 may not have a lot of power, but if you change the tiptronic auto tranny fluid & filter, and keep the engine maintained, it's a wonderfully smooth engine/transmission combination.

I never did like the 1.8T and 2.0 T because it always felt like the engine was like a fire hose: totally limp, or full bore power. No middle ground, and not smooth.

I loves my 2.8.

My car is slower than a turtle walking through peanut butter, but I love it. All I need to do is the speed limit, and look good doing it.

This is your only option as the PES supercharger is for 30v 2.8s, not the 12vs.

supercharger and a chip and a new intake, exhaust and lower it and a nice brake kit and some rims then it'll be a lil faster and look a lot cleaner but that'll cost you

Light it on fire, fill it full of refried beans, then slap it with your *****. Sound ridiculous? So does making power on a 2.8. I don't mean to burst your bubble but the 2.8 is all about what Jeremy (ImtheDevil) said. Cornering, stopping, and looking sexy are it's bread and butter.

Yeah intake/exhaust will basically gain you a few ft-lbs in the midrange but nothing to get wet over. Supercharger is off the plate - building a custom system really is the only option, and tuning a car to handle that, on your own, is beyond 99.99999999% of car enthusiasts out there. Nitrous can be done, but I'd keep it to a MAX of 50hp since the fueling system likely can't handle more than that and if you wanted to upgrade your injectors, well, see above about tuning a car. And yeah, Motodyne turned out some blower kits but the support and tuning sucked, which is why you don't hear much out of them anymore.

Bottom line, look good, corner well, stop well, and leave the going fast stuff to other cars. Sorry man, but it is what it is.

Though I suggest destroking the engine to 2.7 and put a biturbo in it. You got your self an S4!
