Actually, it might be that. It came in a stock airbox that I bought off some guy a while back. The filter is blue, not red like K&N, same high flow design though.

Mann is the stock white/yellow paper filter.

LOL Bishop, my K&N panel filter is at 125,000 miles!
So you got plenty more life left in that.

Just ones you have to spend more time to clean and oil...?

I don't mind devoting 20 mins of elbow grease to my car every 10kish miles. It's like I'm paying myself the cost of a new throw away filter everytime I do it, too.
