well... i am buying it for 4500 tomorrow. tried to get him down to 4000 but he wouldnt do it. getting an "almost new" set of winter tires with it though. I have been looking for an a4 for way to long and i need a car. Picking it up at 1 tomorrow getting the windows tinted at 2, picking up s4 front and back seats after the windows are getting tinted, then will spend the rest of the night trying to get them in. Trying to order some shocks and springs tonight but i cant find any i like, only want to lower it and inch and i can only find a minimum drop of 1.2 and 1.3... i will probably also get a new sound system in the car and a sub. also may get halogen lights if i can find some used ones for a reasonable price and ill get some nice rims after winter.

Price is way high for the year and the milage. I got my 1997 2.8 for $5000 but it had 52K miles on the engine and interior was very clean and all the work has already been done to it. Waterpump, timing belt etc. So yeah like few said wait around and get a nicer one for the same price

$4500 is fair. Emilgevor- I think you know that you got a pretty exceptional and rare deal. He might wait a lifetime to get a deal like you got.
