UPDATE...
So we have been having alot of fun in the stang. So far she's got a few good kills under her belt. Brand new Rausch Mustang from a 2nd gear roll. A mildly modded Evo from a dig. And another Evo with some decent bolt-ons also from a dig. This is all on motor, havent even started ****** with the spray yet.
BUT, my genious co-owner was slammin some gears about 2 weeks ago and there was a nice boom and the car wouldnt engage into gear anymore. He stopped and then the gears would engage, but the car would only move about a foot and then lock up and stop dead. I towed it home and waited for the crazy rain to stop, which lasted like a week or more. So I started the diagnosing and eventually the trans came out lol. I brought it into my kitchen and took it apart to find the shift fork for 1st and second gear was busted up. Here's some pics, notice the one shift fork is missing the lip.

01A LOL... wouldnt exactly be ideal gearing...
I bought a new Liberty shift fork for it. They are cast and don't seem to strong. If another breaks then I'll look into something better, hopefully it was just a fluke thing tho.
