okay so my clutch master cylinder came in the mail today. installing it was easy. before i had installed it, the pedals were like a good advertisment for a AT&T commercial. as you can see.

i asked my friend about this and he said his clutch was even with the brake so i figured when i installed the CMC it would even out. turns out i was right.

also aledelic as u can see i tucked the blue wires

so things have been coming along rather well. i just got a full time job so i should be bringing in a decent paycheck now to afford all of this, so i should have it done hopefully before october.

in a week or so im going to NJ to buy a 97 1.8 5spd driveshaft off of tooextreme8813 or AudiRacerS4 on audizine. he says its a better one cause its made of carbonfibre.

and the rest of the parts im getting off of a guy on AZ for about 1500$ with an upgraded stg 3 clutch and lwfw.

also since i put in my new turbo timer, the wiring wasnt any different i just replaced the old one with a new one, no new wires were added and the wiring spots were not changed, but ever since then now every time i remove the key my car sounds like it trys to die then comes back on and i get a cel. it shows up as a MIL and says check TCM, i check tcm and it says Short to ground B+ i clear and it just comes back heres a pic

well as long as my car still runs im fine, the TCU is getting removed anyway so it shouldn't matter.

very nice. the easy stuff has been done, now you need to put in the actual stuff that will let you use the almighty shifter that moves around a lot. right now you look like a poser hehe

not familiar with the tiptronic steering wheel, do both of those buttons on both sides serve the same purpose? It looks much better man, 5spd FTW!
