Weird Smell..

i got the solution for you and it happens on mine.you know the breather for the rocker covers and the crank case breather.check to see if there is a crake in the pipe work because i had one and i fixed it and no more oily smell.check thats first

I can't pinpoint it, could someone copy-paste image provided with a Dot/Arrow of where he wants me to check.

If your heater core is junk, you might be smelling coolant?

hmm, it smells more like Fuelish than sweetish.
While driving, the car doesn't fog up even with 4 people inside at -20Celsius.

It's when I get out of the car and leave it for the night.
This problem is intermittent (not always happening)

I agree with Joe; when the econ mode is active, it is pulling in fresh air. I "think" your hint here is that you don't smell it when you are moving.. to me, this indicates that the problem is not internal within your vent system and most likely going to be a smell off of your engine or a tube or something laying on a piece of shroud or exhaust. I would not rule out a small animal that may have thought an Audi was a classy place to go and die.
