Default weird HID problem

I have the McCollich 8000K HID kit, bought new bulbs recently. Only one HID lights up and thats the passenger side. I tampered with the driver side one and i got the bulb to flicker on but it went right off. Any idea whats the problem?

Have you tried swapping the bulbs L to R to see if the problem stays with the light or the bulb?

Possibly the ballast if so. I don't know quite how they're installed, but try swapping the ballast L to R.

Tried swapping them, still only passenger side lights up. Im thinking maybe the 10000K bulb is dead and I need new bulbs?

I thought you said you just recently bought new bulbs? Have you grabbed a DVOM and checked voltage at the bulb socket?

Or try using the bulb you KNOW works to eliminate that possibility.

Have you swapped the functioning bulb and ballast (one at a time) to the other side yet? That'll narrow down the problem. Could be a fuse...that happened to me recently.
