RE: Weaksauce dyno
I assume from your sig that the car is an automatic? It may or may not have been a factor but typically automatics eat up more power through the drivetrain than a standard.

RE: Weaksauce dyno
There has to be something wrong, there is no way your numbers can be that low.

RE: Weaksauce dyno
You guys still dont get that a ko4 is not any bigger than a ko3
|
RE: Weaksauce dyno
ummm, but it is physically capable to put out more CFM of air meaning physically able to put out more power?
|
RE: Weaksauce dyno
Not much more than a ko3(s) pushed the same way.
ko3 rated 195hp ko3s rated 215hp ko4 rated 220hp Dues that sum it up enough? |
RE: Weaksauce dyno
no its a manual, and those numbers are corrected. but regardless, something is still not right

Yes, thats what their rated at, but it doesnt excuse the fact of what their capable of. Dont wanna get into an argument, just saying look at the actual numbers from them, the k04 puts out more power. |

Here is the k03s vs. k04. www.audiworld.com/news/99/turbo/lo4lko4r1.jpg </offtopic> I dont want to embed it because it's a huge picture and will screw up the margins. :) |
RE: Weaksauce dyno
I do believe you can squeeze more power out of a K04 than you can out of a K03 -- albeit they are the same turbo. I think that comparing the properties of the turbocharger itself is retarded, because the tuning and supporting modifications are what really allow more power to flow.
And I don't mean to say this to start an argument, but that's just how I view it. |
