Default ways to help stop sludge if any

I am going to buy a 99 Audi 1.8 with over 140k i have receipts of oil changes every 3-4 k miles only syn. used so i don't think the sludge will be overly bad but is there anything i can do to clean then inside up from sludge if any?

You shouldnt really have to worry with those reciepts and as long as they used a big filter. Some have said that even with good changes and a big filter you can get sludge, but ive got high miles and no sludge... If you want to clean it search here and google.. Some run seafoam treatments, then if its worse AutoRX and if its severe ive heard of people using Kerosene.

That sounds kind of extreme, with that kind of history, i would think some full-syn oil changes ahead of the regular intervals would be ok. I did mine every 2000 miles for 6 months and my motor is squeaky clean now

Seafoam if it gets bad. I haven't heard of anyone having problems afterwards.

Ya w/ those oil changes I bet your engine looks like new. Most of us take it 5-6k between them (6 if were lazy... and do the changes ourselves)
