water/meth questions
I've been thinking about getting in on the group buy, but I've got some questions.
Would it be hard on my engine to daily drive on my GIAC race program (100 octane) running 91 octane fuel?
Is there anyone out there that has blown their motor running this mod? Has anyone had their w/m pump fail and stop spraying?
If the pump failed or I ran out of w/m solution, is the damage instant, or does it take some time to heat up to dangerous levels?
Does it make your exhaust smell like methanol?

RE: water/meth questions
1. Not really... but I am not sure about that question.
2. I have never heard of anyone. If anything it will protect the motor.
3. No, our ECU's are VERY VERY smart. If it detects to high of a timing increase and it is knocking the ECU will retard the timing to make your car not blow up.
4. I doubt it.

P.S. I just bought the kit through the GB. Should be here this week.

Would it be hard on my engine to daily drive on my GIAC race program (100 octane) running 91 octane fuel? No it should be fine
Is there anyone out there that has blown their motor running this mod? Has anyone had their w/m pump fail and stop spraying? Yes people have blown their motors from this mod. You need to make sure you have failsafe system in place that will cut the boost to wg pressure if there is too little or too much meth spraying. or if your tank runs dry. Most pumps today are reliable again have a failsafe.
If the pump failed or I ran out of w/m solution, is the damage instant, or does it take some time to heat up to dangerous levels? If running high boost and hte meth stops it could be bad very bad again failsafe failsafe failsafe system.
Does it make your exhaust smell like methanol? I didnt notice any change in smell and im spraying a lot of 100% meth. the car is sure faster
