Hey folks...recently purchased a 2001 A4 Quattro 2.8. Twice in the past few weeks, after it's rained pretty good, I've found the map pocket in the driver's door drenched. I actually have to put a towel in there to soak up some of the water. The water seems to be leaking into the pocket from the gap between the upper and lower part of the door panel (just above the map pocket). Has anyone else had this issue or read anything about it? I did a few searches and couldn't find anything...any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

If it's coming in that way, it sounds like maybe a window seal is leaking. Get ahold of some Rubber Rejuvenator and do all your window and door seals with it - if you have a leaky seal, that stuff will soften and swell the rubber and help it seal more completely.

get a hose, a friend, and 5 mins of time. have him water the outside area, you sit in the car and look for leaks. if no leak check and see if your car has the fender liner
