Warrenty question
I have found that down my exhaust pipe a little bit that a nice little hole as rusted out. I was wondering if the 12 year corrosion warranty would cover that at all even if I am about the 3rd owner of the car?

Yeah, im not 100% sure if it would get covered by this or not, but I do have the original sticker for the car and it says "This Vehicle Also Has The Audi Advantage: 12-Year limited warranty against corrosion perforation".

For some reason I'm drawing a blank. I don't recall the details or if there are any restrictions. I tried to look it up for you, but didn't find much information online. There is a section about it in the owners manual, if you can't find it I'll try and look it up for you.
I could be wrong, but I also don't think the exhaust is covered. Exhausts wear out and rust. I believe the warranty is only for rust on the body.

on the sticker it has a few other warranties such as a 3 year or 50,000 mile no charge scheduled maintenance but for that one it just says 12-year, I might be up by my local Audi dealership in the next couple of weeks and i might as well just stop in and ask them cant hurt.

The corrosion warrenty only relates to body rust, and to furthermore **** you off, it only counts if the rust has actually punctured the paint. If you can see the pain bubbling and you "know" rust is under it, its still doesn't count. Rust has to actually be punctured through the paint. Sorry to burst you bubble. The Exhaust system is only warranted to 80k.
