VDO boost gauge broken or vacuum leak somewhere?
Hi folks,
I recently noticed that with the engine OFF, the VDO boost gauge is reading "6 Hg" - I believe it's supposed to read "0", correct? I.e. - neither in boost nor vacuum.
When driving and off throttle, I noticed that I am now getting 28 Hg when I believe it used to be around 23 or 24 Hg off throttle. Boost-wise, I am also down.
Since I don't have a CEL (Check Engine Light), I was thinking that the VDO gauge has run it's course? But I didn't think boost/vacuum gauges break? I.e. - that they are pretty bullet proof?
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

How do I know if it's adjustable? It's a standard round VDO gauge with 25 max boost and 30 in Hg vacuum similar to this:

Seems the same. But you can't really tell for certain since it's nice and cold out. And the turbos prefer the cold.... I'm going to take out the gauge and see if there's anything I can "adjust" on it...
