Default vchecker.

i just gota Vchecker from ECS tuning. its pretty awesome. does anyone have expirence with one of these?

no one has bought one of these?? if you havent you should (if you can not afford the REAL VAG program). you can read codes, clear them, reset your service light, and a ton of other stuff....its only $120 from ECS...man i thought someone else would have one so they can give me some pointers on using it.

You can also just buy a cable on ebay for $20 and then buy the license from Ross-Tech for $100. Same $120 and you have the full Vag-Com

doh! oh well....its still cool. i got a really cool case for it and it has a nice blue LCD screen

sucks for you how do you work it? i mean i can figure out the basic stuff like code clearing and what not.

The main reason I bought it was to clear seat belt, service lights, and engine lights.I only use the checker if I get a light on.I ran threw some of the other check features and I only think you can monitor code and not alter any settings from what I remember.Its a nice tool to have because it also works on my wifes 01 jetta.I tried it on a subaru and it didn't reconize any trouble codes so its just good for Audi, VW.
