So I got a 1996 a4 2.8 about 10 days ago and I noticed that it has an oil leak that I THINK i coming from the valve cover. I took out the intake filter box and tried to remove the valve cover, but 2 of the 6 hex bolts got stripped. WHat can I do to get them out, and is there anyway to find out where exactly the leak is coming from? It's dripping onto the passenger side exhaust and causes a smell/fume after running the car.

 

I have a '04 A6 2.7, The auxiliary fan is making alot of noise all of a sudden. Is that fan always on - I thought fan was only triggered if the engine is overheating or a/c is on? Can any one assist? Thanks
