I agree... all the quoted estimate says is oil leak found: repl valve cvr gasket, cam ten seal w/ gasket, and cam seal. est $477.

A friend is going to do it all with parts and labor for $100... unless there is more involved when he gets in there.

Oh, wait, cam seal, too? As in the front one? It makes much more sense for that price if so. That's actually cheap (for a dealer, at least0 if so. Are you sure? Make sure it's leaking first. You can pull the upper timing cover and check for oil around the camshaft gear in the front. It's in the upper left.
