Valve cover
I searched and couldn't really find the answer i was looking for.
I have a 98 aeb and my valve cover is cracked is it possible to run a valve cover from a 2001 a4? I mainly ask this because i plan on doing the icm delete and I kinda think that not running the spacers on the coil packs would give it a cleaner look.

The 2001 cover will fit fine, the gaskets and mating surfaces are the same. Devil's right though, the 2001 had a valve cover breather that AEB valve covers don't have. You'd either need to plug it, plumb it back into the PCV system on your car, or run a vented catch can. I picked up a spare to shave/polish, so when I install it you're welcome to the one that's on my car now.

yes an awm cover will work, but as others have stated it has a breather port. however, that isnt the issue. the coil packs are the issue. aeb coil packs are square. awm are round. aeb coil packs will fit into an awm valve cover.

First post said something about an ICM delete, I assumed that was part of the deal.
