So my 98 A4 was in limp mode and had the air bag light on so i went ahead and ordered one of the VAG305 scanners off of amazon, under $30 shipped. Got it a couple days after ordering, hooked it up cleared all the trans codes, limp mode is now gone and she is shifting perfect, and cleared the air bag code as well so now no light for that. So for anybody wondering if the VAG305 is worth it, YES it is worth every penny if you need a vag scanner. Just thought i would throw out my .02 on it.
