Smile v8 project

i have a a4 avant and i love my car ,but the stock 1.8t does not facinate me .i have been holding of and trying to see if there is a another project i can do for my baby and i found 1 ,it is to do a v8 swap over into her but doing some research it seems there is a lot of modifyiny to do is there a way i can just buy the motor mounts and wire all ready done so i can just drop t in and keep it moving like the vr6 swap,is there a company that makes these parts can some 1 direct me 2 them

search for the russian either here or over on az... he did a 4.2 i think

There is no easy swap. All swaps besides the 2.7tt need custom mounts, as well as custom standalone management/wiring harness.

When I loose the 1.8t, im swapping a sr20det drivetrain in, just cause

Why do so much work to get the same power you can get with a Elim turbo kit? Still allowing you to keep the much better gas mileage of the 1.8t. If you want more power then that you should wait to see the new Twin scroll EFR setup for the 1.8t. Manifold should be done in Feb and the BW Twin Scroll turbos should be out in March.

V8 into the B5 is going to be all custom, no one offers parts for doign that.

this is the route i will be going!!

what's that UK guy's name with the orange 4.2 powered RS4? can't believe i forgot his S/N. well i know he can send you the modified parts except the radiator support. omg i really can't believe i forgot his S/N. he's the man though and he's done 2 4.2 swaps that we know of
