Used 1st Gen Koni Coilovers, $700?
#11
heavily modded cars are usually heavily driven... usually. I personally dont believe a damn thing people tell me. Id check the validity of the "lifetime warranty", cuz shocks go bad eventually no matter what, so i cant see Koni or anyone else offering that. If they are not installed in his car, see if you can borrow them and bring them to someone who has a strut tester. Personally I'd spend the extra few hundred bucks for new.

Yeah, Koni has lifetime warranty. A buddy of mine had one of his coils blown and he got it replaced from Koni.
Koni also does re-building for other coilovers made by other companies.
Oh yeah, if you drive the car daily, I suggest you keep the old shocks/springs. Incase things go bad with the coilovers, you'll still have the old setup to put on and will still be able to drive the car.
